Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. As a teen, Rosalia has explored the fringes of both pop and traditional music. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on March 20, 2022, after the show of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of the show on Saturday Night Live. In addition to winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
